JET-TRON Description
The JET-TRON has been designed to sense an air pressure of only 1.5 p.s.i.
Since it is an electro-pneumatic device, the unit will only detect steady conditions and is, therefore, not affected by components which pass quickly through the detection area. This feature makes the JET-TRON ideal as a non-contact device for regulating the level of components in a feeder or machine track.
The standard switch fitted in the unit will control 3½ amps at 220 volts A.C. and is, therefore, suitable for wiring directly into a vibration parts feeder circuits or in the clutch circuit of elevating hopper feeders. Apart from feeder control, this unit is used for simple checking functions, including detecting broken taps or drills.
